Lisa Johnson’s career included 7 years as executive director of the Morgan County Economic Development Corporation in Fort Morgan, Colorado. There, her efforts to increase communication and cooperation resulted in a 33% increase in public funding, 20% increase in the number of private investors, leading to more aggressive development strategies.

In 2003, new and expanding businesses made a capital investment of nearly $55 million in Morgan County. Through her ability to utilize effective partnerships and develop several innovative programs, Lisa emerged as a leader, serving as a resource for other professionals and President of the Economic Developers' Council of Colorado.

Throughout her career, she has worked with numerous businesses of all types and sizes — from early start-up stages, to refining marketing strategies, to negotiating incentives for expanding large corporate manufacturing facilities.
